Top Easy Money Making Tips

top money saving tips fiorelli purse red

As an apprentice on quite a low wage, I've become pretty good at getting the most out of my money. Of course, there is no way to just get cash from doing nothing guaranteed (I wish!), but there are several ways you have a chance to.  There are a few things I always make sure to do in order to keep benefiting from my wages, so I've put together a short guide of my top tips to either make money, get money back or save money!

Free Lottery

Lotteries have some pretty incredible cash prizes, but on a low budget, purchasing the ticket to be in with a chance can be a bit of an unnecessary, unaffordable risk. However, you can still do some lotteries! The cash prizes aren't as big as the paid versions for obvious reasons, but a couple of hundred pounds can make a lot of difference to people.

I personally use something called the Free Postcode Lottery, which is completely 100% free. You simply put in your postcode and email and check in each day to see if you have won, you also get at least 5 chances to win each day. The prizes are funded by ads on the site, which is why you have to check back each day to be entered into the next draw! It only takes a few minutes to sign up and a minute each day to check it, so it's well worth doing.

Quidco

Chances are that you may have already heard of Quidco, but if you haven't, here's the low down. When shopping online, if you click through their website onto sites where you will be online shopping, they'll give you a certain percentage of what you spent back. It may take a month or two to get your money back, but you can claim it in gift cards, a direct bank transfer or through PayPal. Even though you don't get a lot back from purchases, it soon adds up and it's better than nothing!

Receipt Hog

This one takes quite a while, but it's worth trying out. Receipt Hog is a free app which asks you to take pictures of your receipts and rate your shopping experience. The more receipts you submit, the more 'coins' you get and once you have so many, you can withdraw it as an Amazon gift card or a PayPal payment.

If you want to try Receipt Hog, download it from your app store to get started.
