Recently I've been suffering with terrible eczema on my eyes and after weeks of suffering, the reason behind it could have been so easily prevented. It turns out that my previous eye shadow palette had gone out of date and was aggravating my already sensitive skin. I immediately threw it out and switched to try out theBalm Nude'Tude palette from HQhair.
About theBalm Cosmetics
theBalm have a huge cosmetics range including makeup, skincare and hair care and all products have super sassy names too! The packaging is all so beautiful and to make it better, it's all cruelty-free! The one palette which really stood out to me was the Nude'Tude palette so I just knew I had to try it out!
The palette includes a selection of both matte and shimmery eye shadows including both light and dark shades. It also comes with a little application brush which I was expecting to be of a poor quality but was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The bristles are super soft and pick up product really easily for simple application. Anyway, it's time for the interesting bit... the swatches!
Out of all of the shades, the only one which appeared rather differently to how I expected it was 'selfish' but if I built up the colour more, I reckon it would be very similar to how I was expecting. The colours are all highly pigmented and they apply well, blend really easily and are buildable in colour. Due to the versatility of this palette with the range of shades, this palette would be perfect for anybody to create a look which suits them!
Overall, I absolutely adore theBalm Nude'Tude Palette and I can see it becoming a makeup bag staple for me. (is it just me who thinks that 'stand-offish' would make a beautiful highlighter?!). Priced at £30, I definitely think that it is worth the money and it can be found at a range of prices online.
