American alternative rock music extraordinaire's PVRIS are already known for their incredible music and breathtaking performances, releasing their first album in 2014 and instantly kick-starting their career. Vocalist Lynn Gunn has also become one of the most prominent voices for the LGBTQ community, and they just keep getting better. After a long wait, the gifted trio have released a 5 track EP, Hallucinations. Despite this not being a full album release, it's packed with intense spirit and it definitely doesn't disappoint.

Five-piece Derby born band Bury The Traitor breathe metalcore with an intricate sophistication present throughout. Their latest EP Ascend To Clarity speaks volumes, both metaphorically and physically. Containing emotional tracks, it's clear that their determination, motivation and passion shines through with everything they do. Despite their British metalcore label, the boys are appealing to whole contrasting ranges of music fans on the scene, bringing people together through sound and vibration.

It's safe to say that periods are one of life's biggest inconveniences for us gals. Not only do they leave us with horrible stomach cramps for a week, they restrict us in so many ways (FU motivational tampon adverts, nobody feels like moving, never mind skydiving whilst being cursed by the devil's waterfall). If that's not bad enough, every girl has experienced one of these irritating moments below whilst on the blob.

August bank holiday marks one of the most popular annual moments in music, Reading and Leeds Festival. Showcasing some of the best names in the industry, each year is jam-packed with bands and artists across the spectrum of genres ready to end your summer perfectly. Leeds Festival 2018 became my home for four days, with some incredible acts including Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Post Malone and more... Intrigued? Unfortunately I couldn't be in six places at once and therefore couldn't catch every single act, however I made note to highlight the memorable performances to discuss on the blog.
